Sadly, the NY Times has devolved into a news organization where competent reporting is non existent. Their hatred of President Trump overrides any concern for accurate reporting. Years ago, we used to cite freedom of the press as a guardian of democracy decrying foreign news media as nothing more than propaganda. That's what the Times has become. The role they play in misinformation harms the public and democracy and should be punishable by law.
Never thought that the News Paper I loved, admired and read as a kid, would become a rag to line a litter box.
Please Bring back the real news, trust worthy, honest, impartial, integral, and most of all Reliable.

They got the Iraq War wrong. Big miss. They censor reader comments that are critical of the paper or reporting. Many of their recipes are inaccurate; yet they charge a premium for access. Subscriptions are overpriced. They disclose with anonymous sources israeli tactics to infiltrate Iran. Why tell our enemies this? All this for starters.
This is a great place where I read news and information on a regular basis. Every morning I open it in order to know fresh news
Horrible, horrible home delivery service (in New York). complaints make no difference. Only subscribe if you like to spend lots of time reporting missed and late papers
I signed up for a digital subscription plus Sunday home delivery. Probably about 60% of the time there was no paper on Sunday, let alone by 7:30 a.m. as promised. I emailed customer service asking if there was some kind of mixup since our house number is obvious from the street. They blamed high volume/Covid and told me they would inform the delivery staff, but there were still missing papers. We have cameras on our property and it was obvious that no one had attempted a delivery. I decided to cancel because I was irritated with the inconsistency and because the digital content wasn't all that engaging to me. NYTimes does not allow cancellation from an online account -- customers are forced to call or go to chat support, which made me think they were going to try beating around the bush. I got a chat session and I stated that I wanted a full cancellation of services. The employee sent me a lengthy paragraph starting with "Please give us another chance", saying she would talk to the delivery staff again. I'm sorry, but no; please just do what I'm asking you to do. It annoys me that this company seems to have hired a taskforce just to beg customers to stay. Does some poor employee get in trouble now just because I ended up cancelling anyway? If a customer wants to cancel, just let them cancel, and put the power in their hands to do so! Based on these other reviews, I must now keep an eye out for them charging me past my cancellation. And lastly, even though I cancelled on 2/9, they said "Your stop date has been scheduled for 2/14". Trying to squeeze in one more billing cycle? This company does not operate in a straightforward way at all. Potential customers beware.
They make is incredibly difficult to cancel your subscription. The tactics/methods are amateur for an organization of this tenure.
NYT has turned into one of the least serious daily publications that has ever been published. It's daily fodder of propaganda would cause a Russian to blush. The entire existence of the NUT is no longer to report current events snd news, but to spew trash, lies and figments of their imagination. Recall the coverage of Russia, Russia, Russia. We now know there was no basis for this false tale that was covered extensively by NYT. Yet, this yellow rag has yet to retract nor has it apologized. This is but one example of the myriad of false stories published by this rag. The list is endless. Gone are the days of facts, proof and integrity. Instead, we are dealing with slander, libelous twisted rhetoric from biased, propagandists worse than any Russia has ever employed. Supposition, innuendo, idle gossip; this is today's New York Times.
Kept charging me and I don't know how to cancel subscription, so stupid - lack of integrity and want my money back
I am so disappointed in the New York Times subscription service at this time of COVID-19. I had a subscription which I canceled due to closing my bank account. I was assured, in writing, that my account would be good until the end of the month. They lied. NYT closed my account and are refusing to deliver the paper, saying they will issue a refund (to a closed account)! It takes 2 weeks. HA HA! How long did it take them to take my money out of my account? 2 minutes.
The NY Times relentlessly polarizes us at a time when the US needs to be brought together. Half truths, spin and Pulitzer arrogance so brilliantly weave a path to irrelevance. What a waste.
Their paywall sucks.
They placed even their 2020 election coverage behind the paywall. That says everything you need to know about them. They get their data from other sources free and then try to sell it with a paywall? Ridiculous.
No public interest at heart - all other news organisations (even those that are normally subscription-based) provided the election coverage for free as it's a critical issue of public interest.
I personally think Google should stop indexing the New York Times.
Actually they don’t even deserve one star. For them not to show Tweeted and Aired 60 minutes transcripts in it entirety. Not fair to both parties. Shame on All of Us to just believe one side or the other without hearing and or this case seeing both sides. We didn’t just fall off turnip truckS or just wake up wake up from a 100 year nap. Both Democratic Party and Republicans party in history have both told long truths to get elected to office, duh. We all learned that in school government. Just very disappointed that We the USA do not have decency to seek the truth or at least try to see both sides. United we stand divided we fall. That’s what I was raised on, what were you?
